Title: Style guide for Hallo
Audience: This style guide was written for Hallo employees and bloggers, with the goal that they would be able to better serve Hallo customers through their writing. Hallo is an international company that offers English language learning services; as such, people from all backgrounds and all levels of English ability interact with their site and their app. The principles adopted in the style guide are meant to help readers’ understanding.
Instructions to the Writer: The style guide was begun in small groups. After selecting an international company (Hallo, in this case), we were to create a style guide based on the company’s needs and current practices. Requirements included an introduction to the company, at least thirty style decisions, and at least ten style decisions based on principles of Global English.
