Kate Staker has lived in Vermont, Oregon, Utah, and South Korea, and has consequently developed a taste for sugar on snow, phosphates, and ddeok. (Not trifle. Sorry, Utah.) She currently studies editing at Brigham Young University, also minoring in digital humanities and the Korean language. Her aspiration is to be a novelist (like everyone and their aunt), but when she’s not writing or doing homework, she can be found playing the violin, baking, or on the ski slopes. She lives with her husband in a hobbit hole in Utah.
